AUCTION

Thanks to Vivienne Aubin for including me in this year’s charity auction for Doctors Without Borders, organized by Weingut zum Pranger.

I’m excited to have create an edition wine bottle filled with wine by Julia Konstanzer. It will be auctioned on September 20 alongside works by amazing fellow artists. All proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders — I’d love to see you there!

33 artists create works on bottles from just 33 wineries.

In a figurative sense, they raise their glasses and toast together, coming together at the table. Joining them: their artworks.
The medium: wine bottles from various wineries.

The works will be presented and auctioned on September 20, 2025, in support of Doctors Without Borders at the Museum of Applied Arts.

Thank you Gabi Blum for inviting me to your Show "Raum ohne Wände" at Kunsthaus Kaufbeuren !

Gabi Blum presents the video work Showing Cooking – Hiding Sex, in which she portrays several family members in their everyday lives. In a conversation with Claudia Holzinger, Stephan Huber, and Anna Schölß—who also reference their families in their work—the discussion focuses on the significance of family and socialization for their own artistic practice.

Happy to be part of this group show with HOLZINGERurbat curated by Milena Mercer and Thorsten Alexander Kasper at Kommunale Galerie Alte Schule Adlershof Berlin.

Der allgegenwärtigen Weltuntergangsstimmung begegnet die Ausstellung mit Kunst, die Humor als künstlerische Strategie nutzt. Während sich plakativer Clownismus überlebt hat, gewinnt feinsinniger, scharfer und oft düsterer Humor als wichtiges Antidot an Bedeutung. Er eröffnet neue Perspektiven, wird so zu einer treibenden Kraft, indem er das Lachen selbst an Orten der Angst und Unsicherheit ermöglicht. Die Ausstellung taucht ein in das Straucheln der Welt und untersucht Humor als Mittel der Erkenntnis sowie die Möglichkeit einer Versöhnung mit den Unzulänglichkeiten der Gegenwart.

AKADEMIE AKTUELL 01/2024

I had the great opportunity to create the visuals for the new issue of the magazine of Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften about the present and future of the Bavarian school system.

School is hard, at least it was for me - full of pressure, norms and coolness, insecurities and fear which led to the thing, that I was happy to leave it and never wanted to go back. Thanks to my dear friend Fabian Aigner, who is now arts and sports teacher at Gymnasium Dorfen, the school we graduated from together in 2006, I could shoot the pictures in my old school building. Reconciling is a process - but that grown up Claudia posing in morphsuits, biting in rulers and dressing in her old exercise books helped a lot.

Thank you to Studio Umlaut, which is Friederike Giirst and Christine Rampl, for giving me this opportunity. Thank you to Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften for your trust and kindness.

Thank you to Fabian Aigner for helping me take the pictures and giving me the opportunity to render my school sports memories by teaching me the laylap in basketball.
Thank you to his dad and former teacher Peter Aigner and my friend Doominik Thalmeier for modeling so perfectly in morphsuits.
Thank you to Raphael Unger for 3D- printing a stack of books and an apple or me.
Thank you to Johanna Marousek for helping me create the Chess-image and lending me her shoes.
